About Quiltback

Quiltback is a free, focused calculator for quilt-backing strip quantities, joining seams and bolt-length purchases.

What it does

Plan a straight-strip quilt backing from your actual bolt width. Compare seam directions, keep cutting reserves visible and round to the quantity your supplier sells.

The guide shows the formulas, worked examples and limits. All calculations happen in your browser. You do not need to create an account or pay to use the calculator.

Who operates it

This site is operated by the same independent operator as Yardfill. Its existing public support alias is shared for Quiltback feedback and privacy questions. See Contact.
